Wirecast > Help > Send Support Information but click on the lower left Reset Preferences button. I would do a test without Ableton Live and Amoeba Loopback running to make sure you're seeing Wirecast on its own.īefore doing any further testing I'd recommend resetting Wirecast Preferences and starting over with a New Document.
#Wirecast system requirements 64 Bit#
Wirecast is a 64 bit program which will use as much RAM as it needs but perhaps there's a memory leak issue. Clicking on it switching between System and Application use. Please use Wirecast statistics on the top bar to measure CPU use. On an 8 core system using 84% CPU out of a potential 800% is actually pretty low. I'm using Wirecast 7.2 on 10.12.1 without issue. Preferences (if not listed, it is not ticked) Processor 2 x 2.4GHZ Quad Core Intel Xeon

if I try to record with Screenflow whilst Wirecast is open a Screenflow pop up says "Recording Error - Due to an internal error, the recoding has unexpectedly terminated. I then checked the Mac's activity monitor and the results can be see in the attached screen shots. On the last attempt Wirecast lasted around an hour and we finished the stream. We have the Duet separated so we can select channel left in system device properties and have it play through the left and right simultaneously. Our shot set up in Wirecast is as follows:ġx Screen Capture: Window - Ableton Live and Audio: System Device - Loopġ x Capture Devices - Duet USB (or the Mic) Loop takes the audio of various apps and turns them into one source.

The only apps running are Ableton Live 9.7, Audio Amoeba Loop and Wirecast. We have tried streaming to both Youtube and Streamspot and every time Wirecast starts using progressively more CPU and Ram until out Mac brings up a dialogue showing Wirecast as paused and asking us to quit or close another App.
